Ingredients

  • Gram Flour – 1 cup
  • Red Chilli Powder – 3 to 4 tblsp (adjust as required)
  • Asafoetida Powder – a pinch
  • Rice Flour – 1/4 cup
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil as required for frying
  • For the masala filling:
  • Potatoes – 300 gms, medium size
  • Carrot – 1/4 cup, grated
  • Salt as per taste
  • Onions – 3 to 4, depending on size
  • Green Chillies – 3 to 4, depending on size
  • Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Curry Leaves – handful
  • Coriander Leaves – handful
  • Oil – 1/4 cup
