Ingredients
- 1/2 c. Butter
- 2 Tbsp. Butter
- 1/2 c. Peanut butter
- 2 Tbsp. Peanut butter
- 3/4 c. Firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. Granulated sugar
- 1 x Egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1Â 1/2 c. All-purpose flour
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp Salt, optional
- 3 c. Old-fashioned oats, uncooked
- 1 pkt Semisweet chocolate chips, 12 ounce
Directions
- 1. Heat oven to 375'F. Beat butters and sugar till fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add in combined flour, baking soda and salt; mix well. Stir in
- oats and chocolate chips.
- 2. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-9
- min for a chewy cookie, 10-11 min for a crisp cookie. Cold 1
- minute on cookie sheet, remove to wire rack, cold, store tightly
- covered.
- Makes 4-1/2 dozen cookies.
