Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350. Cream margaine with sugars till light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in egg and vanilla. Stir flour with baking soda, salt and spices; add in to creamed mix, mixing well. Stir in oats. Mix in chips and nuts. Drop by rounded Tbsp. onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8 to 9 min for a chewy cookies, 10 to 11 min for a crisp cookie; remove to wire cooling racks. Store in tightly covered container. About 6 dozen 2" cookies.
