Directions

  1. Combine flours, baking pwdr, sugar, salt, lowfat milk, Large eggs, vanilla, and melted butter (or possibly oil.) in large mixing bowl. Beat till well blended. Stir in apples. Drop by spoonful into warm oil. Brown, turn once. Drain well on paper towels. Serve warm with syrup, honey, or possibly sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mix.
