Directions

  1. Rinse and pick through dry beans. Put beans, ham bone, ham and carrots in a large pot. Cover with water and cook for about 3 hrs. (Check water level during cooking - Edit.)
  2. Remove ham bone and check beans. When beans are almost done add in potatoes. Continue cooking till potatoes are tender. Break up potatoes with a long handled fork to thicken up the soup then munge (eat!).
