- Dissolve the condensed lowfat milk and water over a low heat. Add in the sugar and continue to stir constantly till the mix starts to crystallise and leave the sides of the pan. Crush the cardamoms. Pour the vanilla essence into the pan, add in the cardamoms and mix well. Spread the mix on a buttered dish, into small diamond or possibly square shapes and separate when cold.
