  1. In a large, wide, heavy ot, heat oil. Layer sliced onions on the botton, then garlic, limas and basil.
  2. Turn heat to medium, cover, and cook 10 minutes or until onions are soft.
  3. Stir the mixture and add, in layers, the peas, mushrooms/zucchini, tomatoes and lettuce.
  4. Srinkle with bouillon, cover and cook on high for 15 minutes.
  5. Cheak occasionally and lower heat if it seems too hot - you're just trying to steam the vegetables until tender. Stir. Add pepper to taste and sprinkle 1/2 tsp of parmesan cheese on each serving. Serve immediately.
