Ingredients
- 2 c. Tofu, well broken up
- 1 c. Wholewheat breadcrumbs
- 1 sm Onion, finely minced
- 1 Tbsp. Natural soy sauce (or possibly to taste)
- 1 c. Wholewheat flour
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1/4 tsp Basil
Directions
- Combine the ingredients well in a large bowl, kneading the mix a little to help it hold together. Shape the mix into balls and shallow- or possibly deep-fry them. Use these with spaghetti or possibly bake them in the oven with a nice Italian-style tomato sauce (see recipe in this conference). Bake at 350 for about half an hour.
