Ingredients
- 2 c. Flour
- 4 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 1/2 c. Sugar
- 4 Tbsp. Cocoa pwdr
- 1 c. Lowfat milk
- 4 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. Nuts, minced, if you like
- 2 c. Brown sugar
- 1/2 c. Cocoa pwdr
- 3 1/2 c. Very warm water
Directions
- Mix oil, sugar, and lowfat milk, till well blended. Fold in cocoa, flour, baking pwdr, and salt. Pour into a greased 9X9 pan. Stir together remaining 1/2 c. of cocoa, and brown sugar, sprinkle over top of chocolate batter, pour the warm water over top, bake 350 for 45 min.
- good topped with whipped cream or possibly ice cream. I double this recipe for a 9X13 pan.
