Ingredients

  • 1 (8 inch) round loaf bread
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1/3 c. green pepper, finely minced
  • 1 tbsp. green onions, finely minced
  • 1 can Cheddar cheese soup
  • 1/4 pound pasteurized processed cheese
  • 1/3 c. tomato, seeded, minced
  • 1/3 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. white wine
  • 7 ounce. crab meat
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Directions

  1. Cut off top of loaf and hollow out. Cut bread in cubes. Set aside. Heat butter. Saute/fry green pepper and onion for 10 min. Reduce heat and stir in cheese soup, tomato and lowfat milk. When cheese has melted, add in wine. Gently mix in crab and lemon juice. Pour into hollowed out loaf and wrap with foil. Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. Serve with cubes and eat all loaf as mix is eaten.
