Flip Flop Cobbler Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 1/2 c. fruit
  • 1 c. reserved juice or possibly water or possibly any juice
  • 1/4 c. butter or possibly margarine

Directions

  1. Method:1. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter or possibly margarine with 1/2 c. sugar.
  2. 2. In another bowl, combine flour, baking pwdr, and salt. Alternately add in these ingredients and the lowfat milk to the creamed mix.
  3. 3. Spread batter in greased casserole dish or possibly loaf pan. Top the batter with the fruit, and pour the juice over the top of the fruit. Top the fruit with the other 1/2 c. of sugar. (Can omit sugar if the fruit is already sweet sufficient to your liking.)
  4. 4. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 45 min.
  5. Makes 1 loaf pan
  6. Easy to make, and oh so good. You can use frzn or possibly canned fruit of your choosing, as well as fresh. The crust rises to the top while baking. A family favorite!
