Dry Fruit Fudge Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lt Lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp Ghee, (5 g.)
  • 200 gm Sugar
  • 1 c. Walnuts, coarsely minced (150 g.)
  • 1/2 c. Raisins, (80 g.)
  • 1/2 c. Cashewnuts, coarsely minced (80 g.)
  • 24 x Walnut halves

Directions

  1. GREASE a steel plate or possibly a baking sheet. Heat the ghee in a non stick pan.
  2. Swirl the pan to completely coat the bottom of the pan with the ghee. Add in the lowfat milk and stir constantly to avoid sticking to the bottom of the pan.
  3. Cook till almost dry. Add in sugar and keep stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Add in the nuts and the raisins. Pour the mix into the greased plate. Level with a spoon or possibly a katori. Using a sharp knife cut the barfi into diamonds. Cold in the refrigerator. When cold, cut the fudge pcs with a heated knife. Store in the refrigerator.
  4. NOTES : Makes 24 pcs
