Coleslaw Mayonnaise Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 head green cabbage (about 2 lb ) shredded
  • 1 x Red onion, finely minced
  • 1/4 x Green bell pepper, minced
  • 1 x Carrot, shredded
  • 1/2 c. Minced parsley
  • 3/4 c. Mayonnaise
  • 3/4 c. Sugar
  • 1 tsp Celery seed
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper Sprinkling of pepper

Directions

  1. Combine the vegetables (cabbage, onion, bell pepper, carrot, 1/2 of the parsley). In a bowl, combine the dressing ingredients, except the paprika. Pour the dressing over the vegetables.
  2. Chill 3 hours. before serving.
  3. When ready to serve, sprinkle lightly with paprika and add in the remaining minced parsley for garnish.
