Ingredients
- 1 x Lemon and 1 orange, zest of
- 1 1/2 pt Dry strong cider
- 2 ounce Soft brown sugar
- 2 x Cinnamon sticks
- 4 x Cloves
- 2 x Blades of mace, dry
- 1 x 1 inch slice root ginger, peeled
- 1 tsp Grated nutmeg
- 3 Tbsp. Brandy
- 2 x Apples, cored and sliced
Directions
- Put the lemon and orange zest, cider, sugar and spices into a deep-sided pan and hot through for about 10 min. Add in the brandy and reheat gently. Serve with sliced fresh apples.
