Ingredients
- 1 c. Crisco
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1-3/4 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2/3 c. oatmeal (quick cooking)
- 1 c. nuts, minced (optional)
- 1 pkg. (6 ounce) chocolate chips
Directions
- Cream together the Crisco, white sugar and brown sugar. Add in large eggs and vanilla. Sift together and add in the flour, salt and soda. Add in to the creamed mix the oatmeal, nuts and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheet.Bake at 350°F for 12 to 15 min.
