  • 1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. (1 1/2 c.) Nestle Toll House mint flavored semi sweet chocolate morsels, divided
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 6 tbsp. (3/4 stick) butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 Large eggs
  • Confectioners' sugar

Directions

  1. In small bowl, combine flour, baking pwdr and salt; set aside. Heat 1 c. mint chocolate morsels; set aside.
  2. In large mixer bowl, beat granulated sugar and butter till creamy. Beat in melted chocolate and vanilla extract. Beat in Large eggs. Gradually beat in flour mix. Stir in remaining 1/2 c. mint chocolate morsels. Wrap dough in plastic wrap; freeze till hard, about 20 min.
  3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Shape dough into 1" balls; coat with confectioners' sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 min till tops appear cracked. Let stand on cookie sheets 5 min. Remove from cookie sheets; cold. Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
