Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl stir together the 1 c. sugar, brown sugar, cocoa pwdr, baking pwdr and cinnamon. Add in the Large eggs, veg. oil and vanilla.
  3. Beat with a rotary beater or possibly wire whip till the mix is smooth. Add in the flour. Stir with a large spoon till the mix is smooth. Stir in the nuts.
  4. Place the remaining 1/2 c. sugar in a pie plate. Spoon chocolate mix by rounded tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper. Roll each mound around in your hands to create a ball. Roll the balls in the sugar to coat generously. Place the balls 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 375F for 12 to 14 minuts or possibly till the cookie is hard around the edges and the tops are cracked. Cold cookies on a wire rack.
  6. Makes 24 cookies.
