Chipotle Black Bean Humus Recipe

This is a spicy humus/bean dip I made to dip with pita chips, veggies or to spread on wraps or sandwiches. Reduce the amount of chipotle peppers if it's too spicy,

Ingredients

  • 2 15 ounce cans black beans, drained
  • 1 7.5 ounce can chipotle peppers in adobo sauce (I used San Marcos brand, but have used other brands.)
  • juice of 1-2 limes
  • 1 t minced garlic
  • 1 T olive oil

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and process til smooth.
  2. Refrigerate or serve immediately with pita chips, chips, or veggies.
