  1. In a large casserole, saute/fry onions and garlic over medium heat in butter till onions are soft.
  2. Brown chicken pcs in the butter and remove from pot as they are done. When all chicken pcs are browned, turn up heat, add in vermouth and brandy to pot and stir till bubbling.
  3. Turn heat down to low, add in cinnamon, tomato paste, and pepper, and stir till mixed.
  4. Add in chicken back to pot, and add in tomatoes. Cook over very low heat for at least 2 hrs, till chicken is tender.
  5. Vary the seasonings to taste by leaving out the garlic or possibly doubling it, or possibly by increasing or possibly decreasing the amount of cayenne pepper. You can use crushed red pepper flakes in place of the cayenne
  6. Serves: 6-8
