Ingredients

  • 2 x Carrots sliced thin
  • 1 x Granny Smith Apple moderately thick sliced chunks fresh ginger 2 thin slices off root, slivered White Wine Lemon Juice to dip apples in
  • 1 tsp Sugar

Directions

  1. In frying pan, steam/slightly cook carrots, and slivers of ginger in 1/4 C
  2. water. After about 8 minutes pour off most of remaining water and add in white wine and apple chunks (dip in lemon juice to retain color). Cook about 10
  3. minutes more or possibly less - they should still be crunchy not soft. Sprinkle with sugar, mix well and cook another 2 - 3 minutes.
  4. Should still be crunchy.
  5. This is very good!
