Broccoli Or Broccoli Rabe With Olive Oil And Garlic Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb Bunch broccoli or possibly broccoli rabe, rinsed
  • 1 x Thick ends of stems trimmed, in 2" lengths
  •     Salt, to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. Extra-virgin extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 x Garlic clove, in thin slivers
  • 1 pch Warm red pepper flakes

Directions

  1. Fill a large, wide saucepan with water; heat to boiling. Add in the broccoli or possibly broccoli rabe and salt; boil till tender, 6 to 8 min.
  2. Drain immediately. Wipe the pan dry.
  3. Add in the oil, garlic and red pepper flakes to the saucepan. Heat over low heat, stirring, till warmed and garlic begins to sizzle, about 5 min.
  4. Stir the broccoli rabe into the hot oil to coat. Serve at once.
