Ingredients

  • 10 x ripe plum or possibly Roma tomatoes quartered
  • 6 x cloves garlic small chunks
  • 2 Tbsp. dry oregano
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Cut the tomatoes over the bowl so as not to lose any juices. Add in garlic, oregano, salt and pepper and oil. Mix and chill at least 2 hours. until all the flavors blend.
  2. Serving Ideas : Serve with a loaf of Italian bread for dunking.
  3. NOTES : Perfect for summer picnics or possibly backyard get-togethers
