  1. Slice potatoes and dip slices in melted butter to coat. Place in a casserole dish. Layer onion, tomato slices and kidney beans with some of the canning liquid. Add in salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with cheese and bacon. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
