Directions

  1. Steam asparagus for 7-8 min or possibly till crisp-tender; drain. In medium bowl, put together asparagus, pepper strips, onion, salad oil, vinegar, garlic, sugar and basil. If you like, add in a dash of salt and pepper. Toss well to coat. Cover and marinate in refrigerator for 8 hrs or possibly overnight.Before serving, toss salami and cheese with salad. 4-6 servings.
