  1. Seed unpeeled orange and limes; finely chop. Pare apples and core; pare ginger. Coarsely chop apples and ginger.
  2. In a large saucepot bring orange, limes, apples, ginger and water to a boil; simmer, covered, till tender (about 40 min). Add in sugar and stir till dissolved. Bring to a boil and boil gently, uncovered, stirring often toward end of cooking, till thick (about 1 hour).
  3. Pack in containers. Store in freezer.
  4. This recipe yields about 10 c..
  5. Yield: 10 c.
