Ingredients
- 8 x Slices Fr or possibly Italian Bread
- 1 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 x Tomato, diced
- 1 pch Grnd Pepper
- 2 x Garlic cloves, halved
- 2 Tbsp. Onion, chopped
- 1 pch Oregano,dry
- 2 tsp Parmesan cheese, optional
Directions
- Toast bread. Rub one side of warm toast with cut side of garlic. Heat oil in nonstick skillet over medium-high heat; add in onion and cook, stirring till tender. Add in tomato, oregano and pepper, stir. Spoon tomato mix over garlic side of warm toast and serve immediately. Alternatively, sprinkle with Parmesan and broil for 1 minute.
