  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 2/3 c. flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 c. commercial lowfat sour cream

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 425 degrees. Mix butter, sugar, egg and vanilla thoroughly. Blend dry ingredients; add in to sugar mix alternately with lowfat sour cream. Roll out on well floured pastry cloth. Cut with Christmas cookie cutters and place on a greased cookie sheet.
  2. Bake 6 to 8 min or possibly till light touch with finger makes a slight indentation. Frost and decorate. These cut out so nice and are softer than the sugar cookies you use lowfat milk or possibly sweet cream with.
