Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pound grnd beef
- 2/3 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon ginger
- 2 tbsp. oil
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. beef broth
- Toasted sesame seeds
Directions
- In a bowl, mix together beef, onion, bread crumbs, egg, lowfat milk, salt, pepper, and ginger. Shape into 1 inch balls. In a large skillet, heat oil and butter. Brown meatballs on all sides. Add in broth. Cover and simmer 5-10 min. To prepare sauce, heat butter in a small saucepan. Blend in flour, salt, and ginger. Cook till bubbly. Add in broth. Cook, stirring, till thickened. Add in soy sauce and sesame seeds. Pour into a bowl. Add in lowfat sour cream. Stir till smooth. Place meatballs in serving dish. Pour sauce over meatballs and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
