Ingredients: 2 c. sugar; 2 c. flour; 1 stick butter; 1/2 c. Crisco; 4 T cocoa, rounded; 1 c. water; 1/2 c. buttermilk; 2 large eggs, beaten; 1 teaspoon soda; 1 teaspoon vanilla; 1 stick butter; 6 T lowfat milk; 4 T cocoa, rounded; 1 box powdered sugar; 1 c. pecans, minced; 1 teaspoon vanilla

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
4 T cocoa, rounded
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 large eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 stick butter
6 T lowfat milk
4 T cocoa, rounded
1 box powdered sugar
1 c. pecans, minced
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

Mix flour and sugar together in a bowl. In saucepan heat butter, Crisco, cocoa and water. Bring to a boil and pour over flour-sugar mix. Mix well. Add in buttermilk, large eggs, soda and vanilla. Mix well. Bake in greased 9 x 13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 30 min.While cake is hot, heat butter, lowfat milk and cocoa. Bring to a boil. Add in powdered sugar and vanilla. Use mixer to smooth out any lumps of powdered sugar. Add in nuts and spread on cake while still hot.
