  2. Makes: 1 three layer cake
  3. ** Cake:Cream sugar and butter in a mixer. Add in Large eggs one at a time, beating well after each egg. Add in red food coloring and vanilla. Mix well. Sift together flour and cocoa. Mix into egg mix with buttermilk. Mix soda and vinegar in small dish and add in to cake mix. Bake in three 8 inch or possibly 9 inch round pans at 350 degrees for 25 min.
  4. ** Frosting:Cook lowfat milk and flour in double boiler till VERY thick, stirring frequently.
  5. Let cold. Beat sugar and butter till fluffy. Add in lowfat milk and flour mix and beat again till fluffy. Add in vanilla and beat a final time.
  6. Comments: You could add in red food coloring to the frosting but the contrast of the white icing to the red cake is also attractive.
