Ingredients

  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 2 lrg Stalks lemongrass, crushed and sliced
  • 1 x One-inch piece of ginger root

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring 4 c. water to a boil with the sugar, lemongrass and ginger. Simmer 5 min. Remove from heat and let cold to room temp. Strain and chill. Freeze in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions.
