Minatamis na Beans (Sweetened White Beans) Recipe

My grandma used to make this every year during our town Fiesta. She adds a few strips of Langka (Jackfruit) on every sweets she cooks. Nothing compares to her cooking.

  1. Wash the fresh white beans and place in a pot.
  2. Add water until beans are submerged.
  3. Put the pandan leaves. Cover and let it boil in high flame.
  4. Cook till tender. (Some uses pressure cooker)
  5. Add sugar when beans are tender and water is very less.
  6. Mix thoroughly until sugar is absorbed by the beans.
  7. Add vanilla extract for scent ann mix.
  8. Put into a serving platter.
