Ingredients

1/4 c. apricot preserves
2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
5 tsp white vinegar
1 1/2 tsp corn starch
1/2 tsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp yellow mustard
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp garlic pwdr
2 Tbsp. water

Directions

Combine all ingredients except the water in a food processor or possibly a blender and puree till the mix is smooth. Pour mix into a small saucepan over medium heat. Add in water, stir, and bring mix to a boil. Allow it to boil for five min, stirring often.
When the sauce has thickened, remove it from the heat and let it cold. Store sauce in a covered container in the refrigerator.
This recipe yields about 3/4 c..
