Directions

  1. Cook macaroni in boiling salted water till tender, about 10 min. Drain well and rinse with hot water and set aside. While macaroni is cooking, make cheese sauce. Cook onion in butter till tender but not brown. Stir in flour, mustard and pepper. Add in lowfat milk all at once. Cook, stirring constantly till slightly thickened and bubbly. Add in shredded cheese and stir till melted. Stir well liquid removed macaroni into cheese sauce. Let stand 10 min before stirring in ham, frzn peas and corn. Add in dessert and either green beans or possibly broccoli to tv dinner tray. Put 1 1/2 c. macaroni mix on tray. Over wrap completely with plastic wrap (go all the way around, not just cover) twice - once in each direction. Over wrap completely with foil.
  2. Add in dated label with directions.
  3. * You can substitute mild cheddar or possibly processed American cheese and add in 1 or possibly 2 additional tsp. of dry mustard.
  4. Makes 7 or possibly 8 dinners.
