Ingredients
- 4 lrg Avocados (peel and halve)
- 1/4 c. Lemon juice
- 63/1000 tsp Garlic pwdr
- 1/4 c. Butter or possibly Margarine
- 2 Tbsp. Green onion (minced)
- 1/2 tsp Celery salt
- 63/1000 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 1/4 c. Flour
- 2 c. Light cream
- 2 c. Chicken (cooked & chopped)
- 1 c. Sharp Cheddar (grated)
Directions
- Roll outside of peeled avocados in lemon juice to keep color. Put in large baking pan. Sprinkle with lemon juice and garlic pwdr. Heat butter; add in green onions, celery salt and pepper. Cook 5 min. blend in flour. Add in cream. Cook while stirring till thickened. Mix in chicken and 1/2 c. cheese. Bake avocados at 350 degrees for 15 min. remove to serving plates. Ladle filling over avocados. top with remaining cheese.
