Ingredients

  • 1 lb Wagon Wheel Pasta
  • 1 c. Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 12 lrg Plum Tomatoes
  • 3 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 lrg Garlic Cloves
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Grnd Black Pepper

Directions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Coarsely chop basil. Peel and seed tomatoes, then coarsely chop.Mince garlic.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add in tomatoes, salt, pepper and garlic to skillet; cook covered till thickened, about 8 minutes. Don't overcook.
  3. Add in basil leaves to sauce; stir to heat through. Pour over pasta; mix to combine.
  4. May be served warm or possibly chilled.
