Double Orange Crescent Buns Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. butter or possibly margarine softened
  • 1/4 c. frzn orange juice concentrate thawed
  • 1 Tbsp. grated orange peel *see Note
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 16 ounce Pillsbury crescent rolls
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. frzn orange juice concentrate thawed
  • 2 tsp grated orange peel
  • 1 tsp warm water (to 2 tsp.)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F. In small bowl, combine first 4 ingredients. Separate crescent dough into 16 triangles. Reserve 2 Tbsp. margarine mix; spread remaining on triangles. Roll up; start at shorter side of triangle and roll to opposite point. Tuck ends under. Place in 16 ungreased muffin c.. Spread with reserved margarine mix.
  2. Bake 10 to 15 min till golden. Combine glaze ingredients; drizzle over hot rolls.
  3. To reheat, wrap in foil, heat at 350F for 10 to 15 min.
