Crockpot Onion Mushroom Steak Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 lb Chuck roast -- 1 1/2 " Thick
  • 1 env Mushroom or possibly onion Soup mix
  • 1 Tbsp. Chopped dry onion
  • 1 c. Dry red wine or possibly water

Directions

  1. Combine the onion and dry soup mix on a sheet of aluminum foil or possibly wax paper. Roll roast in mix well, to coat it. Place in crockpot and pour wine over, cover and cook on low for 8 hrs . Turn after 4 hrs. On high cook 4 hrs and turn after 2 hrs.
