1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
3 large eggs
2 c. flour
2 teaspoon baking pwdr
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 c. water plus 2 T
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 c. chocolate syrup
1/4 teaspoon baking soda

Directions

Cream Crisco and sugar till light and fluffy. Add in large eggs and continue to beat. In separate bowl, sift flour, baking pwdr and salt. Add in to egg mix, alternately with water and vanilla. Grease 10 inch tube pan and pour in 1/3 of the batter. To remaining batter, add in chocolate syrup and baking soda. Mix at low speed. Pour on top of white mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 min.
