  • 3 whl chicken breasts split and skinned
  • 2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
  • 1 x 15 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c. Picante sauce
  • 4 tsp Unsweetened cocoa pwdr
  • 1 tsp Grnd cumin
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic salt

Directions

  1. Dash EACH: cloves,nutmeg,grnd allspice Lb. chicken to 1/2" thick.Lightly brown in oil in large skillet, about 2 min on each side;drain off fat.Combine remaining ingredients;mix well.Pour over chicken in skillet.Bring to boil.Reduce heat;cover and simmer,gently,10 min.Remove chicken to serving platter;keep hot.Cook and stir sauce till slightly thickened,about 3 to 5 min.Spoon sauce over chicken.
  2. Makes 6 servings.
