Ingredients
- 1 c. Kasha, (whole)
- 1 x Chicken, (pullet)
- 2 x Onions, diced
- 1 c. Celery, diced Oil Salt & pepper, (to taste)
Directions
- In a 4-qt pot, saute/fry the onion and celery in oil. Add in chicken and steam for 30-45 min. Add in kasha, seasonings and water. Cook for approximately 20 min over a medium heat. Before Shabbos, add in warm water to the pot so which the kasha doesn't dry out overnight.
