  1. In a 4-qt pot, saute/fry the onion and celery in oil. Add in chicken and steam for 30-45 min. Add in kasha, seasonings and water. Cook for approximately 20 min over a medium heat. Before Shabbos, add in warm water to the pot so which the kasha doesn't dry out overnight.
