Ingredients
- 2 pound cucumbers
- 5 c. sliced onion
- 1/2 c. salt
- 3 c. water
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 teaspoon mustard seed
- 1 1/2 teaspoon grnd ginger
- 1 teaspoon grnd turmeric
- 3 c. white vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic
Directions
- Slice cucumbers and onions. Dissolve salt in water and pour over vegetables. Let stand 2 hrs. Combine sugar and rest; boil. Remove garlic. Drain vegetables and add in to warm syrup. Heat to boiling. Pour into jars and seal.
