Old-fashioned biscuit recipe made with butter flavored Crisco.

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 425 F.
  2. Mix together dry ingredients.
  3. Cut in Crisco and work dough until it resembles large crumbles,
  4. Pour in 3/4 cup milk (more if needed), stir.
  5. Quickly pat or roll into a half inch or taller round.
  6. Use a biscuit cutter or glass to make the biscuits.
  7. Place on a baking pan.
  8. Bake 10-12 minutes, or until tops are golden brown.
