Betty's Easy Tuna Casserole Recipe

Mom was a working mom, so dinners during the week had to be simple. And that is what this Tuna Casserole is.

Ingredients

  • 12-16 oz.of store-bought noodles
  • 1 large can of tuna packed in water, drained
  • 1 large can Cream of Mushroom soup
  • 1 large soup can of milk (I use 1%, but whole milk might work better)
  • 1 small bag of frozen green peas

Directions

  1. Cook noodles as per directions on bag until not quite done.
  2. Drain and pour noodles into oven casserole dish.
  3. Stir in drained tuna, soup, milk and green peas until well blended
  4. Place casserole in oven heated to 350 degrees and cook for 45 minutes or until the sauce mixture is thickened and the casserole has started to brown.
  5. Serve with a green salad and crusty bread.
