As I frequently do...I searched for SHRIMP recipes and found a couple that looked easy, yet enticing. I then managed to combine the two in hopes that the recipe turned out good...in this case, it did!!

Ingredients

Cost per serving $3.83 view details
  • 2 lbs shrimp
  • 1 cup lemon soda
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cube Land of Lakes Garlic/Herb cube
  • 2-3 tbsp garlic, minced (I simply used the prepackaged minced garlic)
  • Old Bay Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp parsley, finely chopped (optional)

Directions

  1. Marinade the shrimp in lemon soda for about 10 minutes
  2. Melt the butter and garlic/herb cube in a pan and heat it up until hot enough to cook the garlic
  3. Add the garlic and cook until the color turns light to golden brown
  4. Put-in the shrimp and then cook until the color turns orange.
  5. Sprinke both sides of shrimp with Old Bay as they are cooking.
  6. Sprinkle with pasley if you are using it.
  7. Serve hot. Share and Enjoy!
