Love the idea of your theme...my father was in the Army for over 24 years. My mom collected recipes everywhere we went. And when my husband (a DOD civilian) and I were in Germany, I picked up a few more there.

Thanks so much for saying Hello! We'll be moving back to Fort Rucker, AL in a couple of weeks...Home of Army Aviation. We call it 'Mother Rucker' because if you are ever a pilot in the Army, you are constantly going home to 'Mother Rucker for one thing or another!
The man will be doing the DOD Civ thing to finish up his retirement so I imagine we'll be there for the next 5 years ...famous last words. We were stationed in Hanau, Germany from 89-93 with 8-227 AVN. I miss the Europe travel opportunities that is for sure!
Thanks for the note, sorry it is such a delayed response...

My dad and his three brothers (the Four Guglielmo boys) served in WWII, and they all came back. I can still picture my dad saying, "Be careful because flour can explode." Thanks for this theme and I hope others will join you this 2012.

love the theme as well. Keep them coming. I spent four years in the military, nowhere as long as your husband. Hope to see more from you.
