  1. Restaurant - Bar Harbor, Me. Bay Scallop Stew In heavy sauce pan saute/fry shallots in butter, add in wine; boil. Lower heat and simmer 2 minutes. Add in scallops, simmer 5 minutes. Add in lowfat milk, cream and chives. Stir till warm. Don't boil. salt and white pepper. Serve. prep time 30 - 45 minutes.
  2. **Alternative: 1/2 # scallop - 1/2 # lobster meat. Stew will separate slightly.
