So much to cook, so little time.

About me
I love to cook and secretly wish I was a pastry chef. However, I don't love to cook after a full day of work and need some great recipes that are healthy but don't require lots of time. Jewish holiday recipes are always welcome.
In addition to cooking I love to knit, sing and participate in social action activities in my area. The best part of my life are my wonderful husband and four great kids (including my son-in-law).
Cooking Influences
My grandmother and mother. Both of them were tremendous home cooks. I love cooking shows and Cooks Illustrated magazine. I have learned a lot of techniques from these resources. All recipe.com is a tremendous source when I am looking for something specific. I enjoy the recipe reviews.
Back in the day, I really enjoyed Julia Child and The Frugal Gourmet.
