- January 16, 2012Hi Chef! I spotted one of your recipes and it looked so good, that I started reading your profile info, which lead me to your other recipes, which lead me to reading and saving nearly all of them! lol. Thanks for sharing...your recipes look amazing!
- July 26, 2011Boy, Chef Chuck,
Looks like I have written you more here than anyone else, though I am not trying to! ;-)
I am on here so rarely and I spotted your smiling face among my followers, and wanted to say hello.
I am always noticing your amazing bio/resume and didn't remember seeing your honors and awards before; I know I would have remembered THOSE! Did you just update your profile there?
Do you have any connections in any food magazines in CA or that are printed nationally? That is my dream job. I sent enough resumes for things I hated that didn't pay well.
I knew that if I followed what I loved and put my heart and soul into it, it would pay off.
I am working on two resumes and one Feature Story this week-lots of "biz-ness" as I call it!
(Just don't get brainwashed by the negative programming on the news!)
I would love ya to post some of your latest dishes on the newly revamped CookingUpAStorminCA.ning.com.
Polly Motzko - July 25, 2010Hello there Chuck,
I just wanted to stop by and say hello since I was in your neck of the woods here and saw your smiling face with your sparkling eyes. :-)
I met some of the nicest people today in my ventures out to Down Town Garden Grove...historic district. I will be doing two restaurant reviews for my friends that own Doug's Down Town Grille and JJ who owns and manages The Azteca Mexican Restaurant. He really loved what I showed him on my computer earlier last night.
I took the week off and it was long over due. :-)
I hope you're doing fine there and I look forward to seeing more of your amazing recipes. Post anything on my blog; I know it will be great!
Polly Motzko - May 18, 2010Hello Chef Chuck...I just went to your catering website and I am sooooo impressed! No wonder you and I love the same kinds of ingredients and foods etc...your mother and father were Italian and awesome cooks as well!
I would love to talk to you some time when you're not busy-but for you I can see why you are so busy! I am so proud of all you've accomplished and are so proud to be called your friend. :-)
Here's to more cooking, more wonderful dishes and oodles and gobs of great memories to go with it all!
I have two dishes that I am creating later in the wee hours. I bought 2 of the "ingredients" for them last night I know they will be awesome when I am done with them.
I will give you the recipes when I get them done and see what you think in PA.

- May 18, 2010I didn't realize that you were not only a chef but ran your own catering company. How awesome!
I would be off to PA in a heartbeat if I thought I could help you do anything in your catering biz!
I know it is major work-standing for long hours, but oh the delight when you create culinary masterpieces!
God bless and hope to find you online soon.
Are you on Face Book by chance?
I talk to Chef Ryan Brodeaux every now and then on there and he tells me about some pretty cool books and other info.
Polly Motzko - May 18, 2010How nice!
This site gave me just the info that I wanted: the city and state and then the restaurant name of the one you own and make do your magic in. :-)
I am gonna recommend you on here-I mostly know that you and I love the same kinds of dishes and cooking with similar ingredients. :-)
Plus-you are really a nice guy and REALLY NICE to look at too! :-) :-)

- May 15, 2010Hey Chuck,
How nice to see you here! My friend Claudia told me about this site last night in the wee hours of the morn.
My business is building here and I even have a few potential piano students!
Take a look at my little blog some time....it might not be so little pretty soon! I am thinking of collaborating with one of my talented friends. :-)
