This is a simple Turkey stew. Super easy and quite tasty!
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp butter, 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 4 onions, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 4 carrots, peeled and sliced (about 1/2 inch thick)
- 4 potatoes peeled and cut into 1 inch cubes
- 1/3 cup all purpose flour
- 6 cups chicken stock
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp dried marjoram
- 1.5-2 pounds of turkey breast, cubed
- 2 green bell peppers and/or 2 zucchini, diced
Directions
- Melt butter and oil in a large stew pot over medium heat. Place onions in pot and saute till tender, about 4 minutes. Stir in celery and carrots, and cook until tender. Stir in potatoes and flour. Pour in chicken stock and soy sauce. Add marjoram. Place turkey in pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 30 min.
- Mix the green pepper and/or zucchini into the pop and continue cooking 10 minutes.
- Taste and adjust for seasoning.
